 • The Tacoma Holiday Food & Gift Festival opens today. The Tacoma Dome will be filled with vendors, crafts and everything to do with the holidays. Hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. today-Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $13.50 adults, children 12 and younger are free.  • Learn about all the local ballot issues for the election at the pro and con presentation tonight at 6. It is cosponsored by UW-Tacoma, League of Women Voters and Tacoma Public Library. Audience questions welcome. It’s at University of Washington, Tacoma William Phillips Hall, Milgard Family Assembly Room, 1918 Pacific Ave., Tacoma.
