Tuesday’s highlights
Emily Gunderson, Emily Buehring and Jenny Hoefel each scored a goal for Todd Beamer to help the SPSL South Titans pick up a victory against league foe Graham-Kapowsin, 3-1.
Eatonville’s Alex Graddy and KK Voss each scored two goals to help the Cruisers earn a Nisqually League 1A win over Cascade Christian, 6-0.
Fife’s Kendall Gray took home medalist honors with a 2-over-par 38 to help the SPSL 2A Trojans to a 62-49 win over White River at Sumner Meadows. In the boys’ match, White River’s Tanner Williams was medalist with a 6-over-par 42 as the Hornets beat the Trojans, 55-31, at North Shore.
Bellarmine Prep’s Dani Nurmi scored two first-half goals, propelling the Lions to a 5-1 victory over Narrows League foe Central Kitsap. Jessica Sanchez scored the Cougars’ only goal.
Alexis Slater (seven kills) and Sojournah Channel (20 digs, seven kills) helped Narrows 3A Wilson win the first two sets, but the Rams fell to 4A Stadium, 21-25, 23-25, 25-18, 25-19, 15-6.
Franklin Pierce’s Malia Sakatoufifita (26 assists, 12 digs) and Kayla Harriman (12 kills, eight aces) led the SPSL 2A Cardinals to a league victory over Clover Park, 25-9, 25-21, 16-25, 25-16.
Hope Jones earned a shutout and Kelsey Treat scored in Emerald Ridge’s 1-0 road win over SPSL South foe Federal Way.
Rogers’ Kelsey Neeley scored her team’s only goal while Carly Wilson picked up a shutout in the Rams’ 1-0 road victory over Curtis in girls soccer.
