Dr. Laura Kastner, a clinical psychologist and expert on teen behavior and development, will speak about “Tweens & Teens: New Strategies for Wise-Minded Parents” at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The event is part of ParentMap’s lecture series and is at Annie Wright Schools’ Kemper Theatre, 827 N. Tacoma Ave.
A Lakewood school and a Tacoma teacher will be honored at the 2012 Golden Apple Awards ceremony Feb. 1.
