The Atlanta Falcons activated defensive tackle Corey Peters from the non-football injury list on Friday.
Peters, who missed all of training camp and the preseason due to a foot injury, will be active for the first time this season against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
Since being drafted in the third round by the Falcons in 2010, Peters has started 30 of 31 games over two seasons, registering 57 tackles, four sacks and one interception.
To make room on the roster, the Falcons waived cornerback Terrence Johnson.
