Miami Dolphins starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill left Sunday's 30-9 win over the New York Jets in the first quarter with an injured left quadriceps.
Tannehill was hurt on a sack by the Jets' Calvin Pace on the Dolphins' second drive of the day. He was able to walk off the field under his own power, though the team held him out for the remainder of the game.
The 2012 first-round draft pick completed 2-of-5 attempts for 18 yards before departing.
Matt Moore replaced Tannehill on Miami's third series and threw for 131 yards and a touchdown without an interception on 11-of-19 passing.
