Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill was limited in Wednesday's practice session, Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin said.
Tannehill was diagnosed with a bruised quadriceps and a bone bruise in his left knee after exiting Sunday's game against the New York Jets.
"I'm doing everything I can to get ready. Hopefully that's the case," Tannehill said.
The eighth overall selection in the 2012 NFL Draft, Tannehill has completed just over 59 percent of his passes for 1,472 yards, four touchdowns and six interceptions over seven games this season.
Backup quarterbacks Matt Moore and Pat Devlin were also active in practice, Philbin said.
