New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles has been ruled out of Monday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles due to a broken hand.

Sproles has already undergone surgery to fix the fracture.

A vital piece of the Saints offense, the diminutive Kansas State product set an NFL record in all-purpose yards last season. He's second on the team with 39 catches and has totaled 323 receiving yards and four touchdowns, while also tallying 117 yards rushing on 26 carries.
