Spanaway Middle School will host the Sweet Potato Scamper 5K run/walk to benefit the school’s Associated Student Body and the local food bank. It will be Nov. 17 at the school at 15701 B St. E. Cost is $25 and includes a T-shirt, water and snack. Orders need to be in by Wednesday to receive the T-shirt. Registration is available on the day of the event, but without a T-shirt.
