Gas prices, which have taken a dive in recent weeks, continued their decline over the weekend in the South Sound.

Gas prices, which have taken a dive in recent weeks, continued their decline over the weekend in the South Sound.

According to The News Tribune’s Gas Deal Finder, the average price of a gallon of unleaded in the Tacoma area Monday afternoon had fallen to $3.513, less than two cents over the national average. Washington prices typically are significantly over the national average because of higher taxes and a constrained supply.
