The Philadelphia Eagles reportedly signed general manager Howie Roseman to a multi-year contract extension.

According to a report by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie gave Roseman an additional 4-to-5 years back in June when team president Joe Banner stepped down.

Since the 37-year-old Roseman was named the NFL's youngest general manager in January 2010, the Eagles have a record of 21-19 and lost in the wild-card round of the 2010 playoffs to the Green Bay Packers.

During Roseman's three-year tenure, the Eagles have shipped away quarterbacks Donovan McNabb and Kevin Kolb, cornerbacks Sheldon Brown and Asante Samuel, and defensive end Chris Clemons, while acquiring defensive end Darryl Tapp, linebackers Ernie Sims and DeMeco Ryans, and cornerback Dominique Rodgers- Cromartie.

Philadelphia has most notably inked cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, defensive end Jason Babin, defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins, wide receiver Steve Smith, running back Ronnie Brown and tackle Demetress Bell via free agency.

Roseman also extended the contracts of running back LeSean McCoy, wide receiver DeSean Jackson, defensive end Trent Cole and tackle Todd Herremans.
