The New York Jets re-signed wide receiver Jason Hill on Tuesday.
Hill signed with the Jets on Oct. 3 and caught two passes for 15 yards and a touchdown over three games before being released on Oct. 27.
A third-round selection of San Francisco in 2007, Hill has compiled 78 catches for 1,043 yards and nine touchdowns in 53 games -- including 13 starts -- over six seasons with the 49ers, Jaguars and Jets.
To make room for Hill, the Jets waived rookie safety Antonio Allen.
