Mount Rainier hires Ingrid Nixon as chief of interpretation

Ingrid Nixon has been hired as the new chief of interpretation at Mount Rainier National Park. Ingrid Nixon, who is working at Denali National Park in Alaska, will be in charge of the park’s interpretive ranger staff, volunteer/outreach program, education program and social media.

Ingrid Nixon has been hired as the new chief of interpretation at Mount Rainier National Park. Ingrid Nixon, who is working at Denali National Park in Alaska, will be in charge of the park’s interpretive ranger staff, volunteer/outreach program, education program and social media.

She fills the position held by Lee Taylor, who left in March to become superintendent at San Juan Islands National Historic Park.
