Sometimes the best classical music is heard while sipping a hot cuppa. It’s not quite free, but for the price of a cup of tea or coffee, you can hear great classical music every Sunday at the Antique Sandwich Co. cafe in Ruston while sitting back in the comfy chairs and cozy atmosphere.
Locals know the cafe as a great place to warm up after a hike at Point Defiance Park, to read a paper (remember them?), and eat yummy handmade pies and cookies.
There are plenty of toys to occupy small kids and plenty of comfortable sofas.
But there also is a stage area where some of the best small groups around town play gigs – everything from the brass quartet that’s playing this Sunday, to flute ensembles, mandolin orchestras, piano soloists and vocalists.
