Online fishing group holds gear swap meet

Members of washingtonlakes.com will hold a fishing swap meet Saturday, billing it as the largest private fishing swap meet in the Puget Sound region.

Members of washingtonlakes.com will hold a fishing swap meet Saturday, billing it as the largest private fishing swap meet in the Puget Sound region.

Event organizers said there will be tackle, rods, reels, boat equipment and more on sale, all at discounted prices. Attendees can expect to find tackle for all types of species, including bass, trout, kokanee, salmon and steelhead. Refreshments will be available.

The meet will be from 1:30-5 p.m. Saturday at 2330 130th Ave. NE, Bellevue. The event is open to the public and members.
