 • Join the Garden Hour Garden Club to learn about all things gardening. There are plant exchanges, work to help keep the Fire Department garden in bloom and other events. The group meets 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. today and every second Monday at the Edgewood Fire Department, 10105 24th St. E., Puyallup. 253-927-5837.

 • Take in the free South Sound Diabetes Day of Wellness presented by MultiCare from 5-7 tonight. It includes food demos, tastings, and free glucose and blood-pressure screenings and more.  • Discover the talents of local student musicians at the Jazz Series: University Jazz Ensemble performance tonight at 8. There’s also a locally grown web community called Crop Swap, where you can swap seeds or garden produce.
