State again to consider Tacoma Narrows Bridge toll hike
A citizens advisory committee will meet Tuesday, Nov. 13, to start the process to raise tolls on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge next summer. The convening of the committee comes more four months after toll increases took effect July 1. The increases were the first in four years.

State Reps. Jan Angel, R-Port Orchard, and Linda Kochmar, R-Federal Way, propose renaming the Tacoma Narrows Bridge under HB 1051 in order to help alleviate tolls.
Residents and bridge users are invited to learn more about proposed toll rates for the Tacoma Narrows Bridge when the Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) meets Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the Gig Harbor Civic Center, 3510 Grandview St., Gig Harbor.
Rep. Jan Angel, R-Port Orchard, has introduced a measure that would maintain the current price of tolls on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge until financing for the structure is completely re-paid. The bill would allow tolls to be maintained, but not increased, until such time as all loans and debt are paid on the bridge.
