 • Mark your calendar for Friday to discover the talents of students and faculty at these two local concerts:

The Jacobsen Series: Puget Sound Piano Trio at 7:30 p.m. Friday will feature School of Music faculty Duane Hulbert, piano; Maria Sampen, violin; and David Requiro, cello, playing works by Schubert, Mendelssohn and Ives. Tanya Stambuk (piano) joins the TCC Orchestra in at 7:30 p.m. performance Friday. The program includes Beethoven Symphony No. 1 in C Major, and Brahms Piano Concerto No. 1 in d minor. The free concert is at Tacoma Community College, Building 2 Auditorium, 6501 S. 12th St., Tacoma. 253-460-4374.
