Software company founder John McAfee denies he killed a neighbor in Belize but said he won’t turn himself in for questioning because he fears a police anti-gang unit wants to kill him.
McAfee told The Associated Press that he is in hiding with a young woman somewhere in Belize.
Belize police have said they want to question McAfee, who they describe as a “person of interest” in the slaying of fellow American Gregory Viant Faull. McAfee told the AP that Faull was an “annoyance,” but he denied killing Faull.
