Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen is enthusiastic about Windows 8 tablets but a new entertainment app he recently released came first to Apple’s iPad.
Allen’s app is called Fayve, which helps users choose movies and TV shows by sorting through recommendations generated by streaming-video providers and Facebook friends. The free app was released Thursday on iTunes. Versions for Windows and Android devices are being developed. Allen has invested in many entertainment ventures, including Ticketmaster, Dreamworks and independent movies.
