A 21-year-old was arrested Sunday after he allegedly assaulted a teenager with a 2-liter bottle of soda, Tacoma police said.
Officers were called to the 800 block of South Vassault Street about midnight for reports of two people fighting at a birthday party.
The found a 14-year-old boy with a laceration, and booked the 21-year-old for investigation of second-degree assault. Police said the 21-year-old had been fighting two drunken juveniles.
The 14-year-old was treated at a local hospital and released, police said.
