Before you chow down on that Thanksgiving feast, plan on getting a little exercise first. In Tacoma, join in the annual tradition of the Norpoint Turket Trot. Bring the family and run the 5K, or walk the two-mile course. There also is a kids trot. In its 18th year, the event is Tacoma’s longest-running turkey trot and also collects used tennis shoes and food bank donations. The entry fee is $35 ($40 day of race) and includes a long-sleeve organic cotton tee (not guaranteed for race day registrants.)
