Once you’ve enjoyed your Thanksgiving feast, get in the holiday spirit by taking in Fantasy Lights at Spanaway Park, Military Road and Pacific Avenue, Spanaway. With brilliant lighted and animated displays, you can enjoy it all from the comforts of your car. It’s open from 5:30-9 p.m. daily through Jan. 1.

Admission is $13 per car or van, $28 per mini-bus (16-24 passenger), $45 per bus (25 and more passenger.) 253-798-4177 or 253-798-3330.

JOIN THE NO-STRESS HOLIDAY FUN

If you not planning on doing the Black Friday shopping, then check out these fun stress-free family events.

 • My Macy’s Seattle Holiday Parade and the Star Lighting in downtown Seattle. The parade features all our favorite holiday characters, bands and more starting at 9 a.m. on Third Avenue, Seattle.

Stick around the star lighting and fireworks show as well, at 5:30 p.m. at Westlake Shopping Center, Fourth Avenue and Pine Street, Seattle. Both are free.

 • Join in the local tradition of the Annual Bridge Lighting in Sumner. Sponsored and hosted by The Old Cannery Furniture Warerhouse, 13608 Valley Ave. E., Sumner, this free community event is from 5-6 p.m. 253-720-9846.

Saturday

YES, TACOMA HAS AN UNDERGROUND HISTORY AND YOU CAN JOIN IN A WALKING TOUR

Join Tacoma Art Bus and discover the history of Tacoma on the Underground Tacoma Flashlight Tour Saturday. You can see the Chinese Tunnels, the inside of Old City Hall, stroll the underground sidewalks that in January they will be filled in by the city and never seen again.

This Tacoma-centric event is a walking tour and to participate you must be able to handle walking up and down stairs. One stop is not kid-friendly. Plan to join the group for the 5:30 p.m. tour. Tickets are $8-$10, go to theangelajossy.com/artbus.htm to buy yours and to get more details.

IT’S BLUE-EYED SOUL AT SCAGGS CONCERT

Boz Scaggs has been writing, playing and performing music since the 1960s and is know for hits including “Low Down,” “Lido Shuffle,” and “Look What You’ve Done to Me.” He’s coming to the Snoqualmie Casino, 37500 SE North Bend Way, Snoqualmie for a 7 p.m. concert Sunday.
