Here’s the breakdown of which services will be open and which will be closed today because of the Thanksgiving holiday:
- Pierce Transit service will run on its regular weekday schedule. Administrative offices and bus shops will be closed, with the exception of the Lakewood sales office, which will be open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. It will provide phone information from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
- Sound Transit buses will run on a weekday schedule, and the Sounder train will run with reduced hours.
- Post offices will be open and there will be home delivery.
- Garbage that usually was picked up on Thursday will be picked up today.
- City and county offices will be closed.
- City libraries will be open; county libraries will be closed.
