 • Tonight is all about comedy and soul at the annual “Nate Jackson’s Super Funny Thanksgiving Weekend Comedy Show.” It will feature Rob Stapleton, Vanessa Fraction, Billy Sorrells and others who will perform classic stand-up comedy. IT’S A TACOMA TRADITION: SOUND OF MUSIC SING-ALONG AND ANNUAL TREE LIGHTING

Join in the annual tradition of the Sound of Music Sing-Along and 67th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting in downtown Tacoma today. The family-friendly interactive experience of the Julie Andrews classic film is at 2 p.m. Every ticket purchase – $24 – includes a complimentary participation pack. Based on the Broadway hit, “Dreamgirls,” the Dash Center produced production is now playing at Charles Wright Academy, 7723 Chambers Creek Road W., University. The story showcases the show business aspirations and successes of RB acts such as The Supremes, James Brown, Jackie Wilson, and others.
