Get your friends together and head out to The Swiss Pub & Restaurant, 1904 Jefferson Ave., Tacoma for Trivia Night. There are cash prizes, five categories and teams can have up to seven members. It’s $2 per person. For more information go to theswisspub.com/ calendar.htm

SEATTLE SHERATON TRANSFORMED FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Help support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation while you take in the holiday sights in downtown Seattle with a trip to the 20th annual Gingerbread Village. The lobby of the Seattle Sheraton Hotel, 1400 Sixth Ave., is transformed into a magical candy village and is open to public viewing. It’s free but donations to the foundation are accepted. The display will be in the lobby until Jan. 1.

FREE THEATER IN OLYMPIA

Take in a presentation of “A Slight Misunderstanding” and “The Jokesters Encore” when the Readers’ Theater Unlimited performs in a free 3 p.m. show today. It’s at The Olympia Senior Center, 222 Columbia St. NW.
