A teen was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a Lacey house that did an estimated $320,000 in damage.

According to a news release:

Lacey firefighters responded to a the fire in the 5800 block of 18th Avenue Southeast about 1 a.m. Thursday. They found a teenage boy trapped in a bedroom; he was taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, then to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and searched the building. Two other occupants were treated for minor injuries at the scene and released.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Lacey Fire District 3 was assisted by the Olympia Fire Department, South Bay Fire District 8 and East Olympia Fire District 6.
