A Fife man drowned in a city storm drain Friday evening while attempting to retrieve keys he had dropped through a street grate.
A Fife man was arrested on suspicion of child assault after his 4-month-old son was found unresponsive in the family’s home this morning.
After more than two days of sonar sweeps, officials have ended the unsuccessful search for the body of a man presumed to have drowned in Spanaway Lake Sunday.
They repeatedly tagged the scoreboard and baseball dugouts at Fife High School, the city pool, Chamber of Commerce and various businesses.
Fife High School was locked down mid morning as police used a K-9 officer to track a man who escaped from a mental health facility in the city, Fife police Cmdr. Tim Floyd said.
