An educator with Tacoma roots was named the state’s school superintendent of the year by the Washington Association of School Administrators.
Saundra Hill graduated from Sumner High School in 1972 and from the University of Puget Sound in 1976. She was honored for a decade of leadership in the Pasco School District.
