Brittany Boyd scored 23 of her 28 points in the second half to lead California (6-1).

At No. 16 Tennessee 102, No. 22 North Carolina 57: Meighan Simmons scored a career-high 33 points and exceeded the 1,000-point mark for her career as the Volunteers (6-1) trounced the Tar Heels (7-1) for their sixth consecutive victory.

No. 8 Georgia 60, Georgia Tech 50: Jasmine Hassell scored 22 points and the Bulldogs held the Yellow Jackets to 30 percent shooting in a 60-50 victory over their in-state rival in Atlanta.

Georgia Tech (3-4) cut an 18-point deficit to six points with less than two minutes left, but Hassell hit a layup and Khaalidah Miller went 4-for-4 from the foul line in the final minute for the Bulldogs (9-0).

No. 23 Dayton 65, at Arizona State 59: Ally Malott scored 20 points and the Flyers (9-0) rallied from a 12-point halftime deficit to beat the Sun Devils in the championship game of the ASU Classic.

Janae Fulcher had 11 points to lead the Sun Devils (3-4).
