High winds, rain accompany storm through Tuesday

A strong storm swinging through Western Washington tonight and Tuesday is expected to bring more rain and high winds, according to the National Weather Service.

A strong storm swinging through Western Washington tonight and Tuesday is expected to bring more rain and high winds, according to the National Weather Service.

A special weather statement says gusts up to 50 mph along the coast and north of Whidbey Island should hit this evening. In Tacoma, winds are predicted to remain around 17 mph and increase to 25 mph Tuesday afternoon.
