The annual "Hark the Harbor" community caroling event will be held this Thursday, Dec. 6, at Skanskie Brothers Park in downtown Gig Harbor. The event starts at 7:30 p.m., and will be led by local musician Sharon Stearnes. The Argosy Christmas Ship, featuring Federal Way's Harmony Kings, is expected to arrive in the harbor around 8:30 p.m.
The Girl Scouts of Gig Harbor will collect donations of new and slightly used coats on behalf of the Wishing Well Foundation for foster children. Boxes around the park will also collect holiday cards for local seniors.
