The Buffalo Bills have placed offensive tackle Chris Hairston on injured reserve because of an ankle problem.
Hairston started eight of the 12 games he played this season and has made 15 starts in two years since the Bills selected him in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
The Clemson product is the second Bills player to land on IR in two days, following defensive end Chris Kelsay.
Buffalo filled Hairston's roster spot by signing offensive tackle Chris Scott, who had been on Tennessee's practice squad.
