Federal Way police searching for two women who walked away from serious hit-and-run accident

Federal Way Police are searching for two women who witnesses reported walking away from a head-on collision that critically injured a 27-year-old man Thursday night.

Federal Way Police are searching for two women who witnesses reported walking away from a head-on collision that critically injured a 27-year-old man Thursday night.

According to a police report, witnesses saw the two women – described as in their late teens or early twenties – walk away from the crash that happened at 1100 SW Campus Drive around 10:36 p.m. When police arrived, they found a critically-injured man just outside of his truck and another abandoned vehicle. Damage to both vehicles was significant.

Witnesses reported seeing the two women walking away and being picked up by another vehicle near the accident. There is no description of that vehicle at this time.

Area hospitals were notified to be aware of two women who may in for treatment with injuries consistent with a vehicle accident.

The suspect driver is described as a white female approximately 18 years of age, about 5 feet and 2 inches in height, 100 pounds with blonde hair. Suspect passenger is described as a white female approximately 20 to 22 years old, 5 feet and 2 inches, about 100 pounds with blonde hair.

The critically injured man was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
