The Philadelphia Eagles have ruled out quarterback Michael Vick, running back LeSean McCoy, safety Kurt Coleman and defensive tackle Mike Patterson for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Vick and McCoy are both in Phase 4 of the post-concussion process.
Eagles coach Andy Reid announced on Monday that rookie quarterback Nick Foles will remain the starter for the rest of the season.
Rookie running back Bryce Brown will make his third straight start in place of McCoy. The Kansas State product has carried the ball 75 times for 488 yards and four touchdowns in 12 games this season.
Coleman (sternum bruise) will be replaced by Colt Anderson.
Meanwhile, Patterson has been ruled out with what head athletic trainer Rick Burkholder called "viral pneumonia." Burkholder added that Patterson's pneumonia has nothing to do with his previous arteriovenous malformation.
