Olympic gymnastic celebrities Olga Korbut and Kerri Strug will be among those turning out Monday to help raise money for a Puyallup teen paralyzed last month while dismounting from uneven bars.
The auction and dinner for 15-year-old Jacoby Miles will be at the Temple Theater, 47 St. Helens Ave., Tacoma. Tickets are $100. An opportunity to meet and greet the Olympic stars will cost $200. The auction will begin at 5:45 p.m.; dinner will be at 7 p.m.
Organizers hope to raise $125,000 for Jacoby’s medical bills and other expenses.
