A 17-year-old boy fleeing his home after a domestic violence incident plowed into another vehicle and tried to run from the scene but bystanders held him until Pierce County sheriff’s deputies arrived.

The incident took place about 12:15 p.m. at 112th Street East and Canyon Road East in the Summit area.
