Grant Reed made a layup after stealing a pass to help Steilacoom preserve a 55-54 boys basketball win over Washington.

Franklin Peirce’s Michael Dupree scored 14 of his game-high 29 points in the fourth quarter, but the Cardinals’ comeback fell short against No. 5 White River, 62-57.

Jesse Norton (22 points), Ian Stewart (14) and Ben Whitaker (13) led Vashon over No. 1 Cascade Christian, 57-44.

Teddy Hardy made a three-point play with 28.7 seconds remaining to give Fife a 44-41 win over Sumner.

Ahmaad Rorie (28 points) and Tre’Shaun Fletcher (22) led No. 2 Lincoln over North Thurston, 90-56.

Freshman Kiara Knox (20 points, 11 rebounds) came off the bench to help fourth-ranked Wilson top Mount Tahoma, 78-29, in a girls Narrows 3A matchup.
