The Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo is offering concert series packages for next summer's fair as stocking stuffers this Christmas.
The packages sell for $150 and includes two front row seats to all five concert nights at the fair, which runs Aug. 20-24. Buyers will still have to pay for fair admission.
Even though fair entertainment comes with an admission ticket, reserved seats are an additional $15.
The Christmas package, however, guarantees the buyer the same front row seat for all five concerts, said fairgrounds manager Lori Lancaster.
The entertainment lineup has not yet been announced, but Lancaster said it won't be disappointing.
"The tickets are selling quite well without knowing the lineup," Lancaster said. "It's known as a blind buy or a mystery buy, and it's not uncommon for fairs and festivals to presell tickets before the lineups are announced. We have a lot of people who come to every concert each year no matter who it is."
The entertainment packages are in limited supply and available at the fairgrounds office off 10th Avenue in Kennewick.
Another great stocking stuffer idea, Lancaster added, is the purchase of a carnival wristband for kids of all ages.
For $20, parents can buy a wrist band, which is good for all-day rides at the 2013 fair. The cost includes a stuffed animal and free admission to the fair for kids ages 6 to 12. Wristbands will be $30 at the fair this year.
Wristband specials can be purchased at Ranch & Home store on Columbia Center Boulevard.
