C olumbia Crest School in Eatonville was one of seven schools in Washington that was recognized as Title I, Part A Academic Achievement Schools. The awards were given to schools that successfully met math or reading annual measurable objectives and annual yearly progress in all student subgroups for the 2011-12 school year. Columbia Crest has met the standards for three or more years for reading and will receive $10,000 with the recognition.
