The Pittsburgh Steelers reinstated running back Rashard Mendenhall from the reserved/suspended list, the team announced Monday.
Mendenhall was suspended one game for conduct detrimental to the team. He missed Sunday's overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
The 25-year-old has endured a rash of injuries this year and has played just four games, recording 113 rushing yards on 34 carries. He missed the first three games of the season while recovering from an ACL tear, then later missed four consecutive games due to an Achilles setback.
He was also a healthy inactive for a Week 13 win over the Baltimore Ravens and a Week 14 loss to the San Diego Chargers.
Pittsburgh has received a one-day roster exemption for Mendenhall, which will expire on Tuesday at 4 p.m. (ET).
