The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for several mountain areas, including Paradise and Snoqualmie Pass, with up to two feet of snow expected to fall through Friday.

A wind advisory will be in effect for Whatcom County from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, with the possibility of south to southeast winds of 20 to 35 mph and gusts up to 45 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
Winds that strong could break branches and cause scattered power outages.
