San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr and Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh were named the NFC's top Week 15 performers.

Kaepernick earned the offensive honor after throwing a career-high four touchdown passes in the 49ers' 41-34 win at New England. He threw for 216 yards overall and added 28 yards rushing as San Francisco snapped the Patriots' 20-game home winning streak in the month of December.

Carr received defensive honors after intercepting Ben Roethlisberger's pass on the second play of overtime in the Cowboys' 27-24 triumph over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The pick set up Dan Bailey's game-winning field goal. Carr also tallied four tackles and three passes defensed.

The special teams award went to Walsh, who converted all five of his field- goal attempts, including three from 50 yards or longer, in the Vikings' 36-22 victory against the St. Louis Rams.
