B y the numbers The actual number is $17,900,634.11, the value of all the state fishing licenses sold in 2008, according to “Washington State Sport Catch Report 2008.” The state Department of Fish and Wildlife report was released in July. The largest single segment of license sales was the 350,746 freshwater fishing licenses sold for the 2008-09 season, generating more than $7.01 million in revenue.
