Five people were arrested Saturday in Richland on multiple felony warrants and drug charges.

Richland police officers served a search warrant at 95 Cullum Ave. They initially were denied access to the home and had to force the door open, police reports stated.

Two of the suspects refused to comply with police commands and had to be physically restrained. A search of the residence turned up narcotics and other evidence, police said.

Arrested and booked into the Benton County jail were Tracy L. Wilson, 49, Richland, Melissa L. Eggers, 26, Richland, Diego A. Cano, 38, Warden, Melissa Tapia, 29, Warden, and Michael L. Castoreno, 28, Othello.

A vehicle also was impounded at the location.
