Edgerton Elementary among leaders in raising funds for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Students throughout Washington have collected $181,000 through Pasta for Pennies, presented by Olive Garden and benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Students at 85 elementary, middle and high schools in 13 counties filled collection jars and boxes in their classrooms with spare change over a three-week period during the school year.

Edgerton Elementary School in Puyallup was one of the top three fundraising schools in the state, collecting $8,546.
