D ec. 13 — A woman reported that someone stole her purse, car stereo, a car jack, her lunch and $40 in cash from her car while she was working at Target in Gig Harbor. The responding officer found two screwdrivers inside the car. There were no suspects at the time of the report.

When the strange man offered to give the 13-year-old Tacoma girl a ride, she said no. When he flashed money and told her to get in the car, she ran into the house and called police – but not before she punched the car’s license number into her phone.
