Russell Wilson will get some sand in between his toes this weekend. The Seattle rookie quarterback is headed to Hawaii to play in the Pro Bowl as an injury replacement, the Seahawks announced on Monday.
The strength of the Seattle Seahawks this season has been the team’s running game, and a couple of key pieces of that group were rewarded on Wednesday with a trip to Hawaii.
After Russell Wilson’s third touchdown pass of the third quarter, the announcers stated the obvious, that the Seahawks rookie quarterback looked like a shoo-in as the Pro Bowl MVP.
