Central Michigan 73, No. 20 Texas 65: Niki DiGuilio scored 21 points to help the Chippewas (6-6) upset the Longhorns (7-4) in the consolation game of the Maggie Dixon Surf N Slam Classic in San Diego.

Texas made 24 turnovers, almost doubling the number made by Central Michigan, which coverted those miscues into 22 points.

At No. 7 Kentucky 78, Marist 56: Jennifer O’Neill scored a career-high 21 points, and the Wildcats (12-1) pulled away to beat the Red Foxes (5-6) for their 11th straight victory.

DeNesha Stallworth also had 21 points for Kentucky, which came out sluggish after Friday’s 90-23 victory over Alcorn State in which it set a school record for fewest points allowed.

At No. 13 Tennessee 66, Rutgers 47: The Volunteers (9-3) used a strong defensive performance and balanced scoring to defeat the Scarlet Knights (8-4) for their 1,200th win in Tennessee’s program history, an NCAA best.

No. 16 North Carolina 65, at Clemson 58: Xylina McDaniel scored 19 points and had six steals as the Tar Heels (13-1) used a key 19-2 second-half run to come back and beat the Tigers (4-8).

At No. 21 Florida State 76, Boston College 70: Alexa Deluzio scored 25 points and had 12 rebounds and Natasha Howard had a double-double as the Seminoles (11-1) slipped past the Eagles (6-5).
