CHEERS to Deputy Sean Decker of the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department for being a caring member of the Peninsula High School family.
CHEERS to the Peninsula High School fans who cheered during a basketball game against Gig Harbor High School. JEERS to the Gig Harbor High fans who sat lifelessly in the stands as their teams were battling the Seahawks, particularly in the girls varsity game, which went into overtime. It’s rather sad to see a lack of school spirit.
CHEERS to Purdy Vet Clinic. After my dog Chloe was hit, the clinic helped by donating bandages and splints. CHEERS to the good person who paid for Chloe’s X-rays.
CHEERS to those who use turn signals when they exit roundabouts and have their headlights on when their windshield wipers are in use (it’s the law).
CHEERS to Dr. Richard Coyner, our dentist who responded to our call right away, even though he was leaving town in the next few hours. My husband had chipped off his front tooth, and Dr. Coyner got him in and repaired my husband’s smile, just in time for holiday pictures.
