Kennewick, Tri-Tech to be in session today

A reminder to Kennewick students and their parents that schools in the Kennewick School District, as well as Tri-Tech Skills Center in Kennewick, will be in session today after the winter break.

Pasco and Richland schools, as well as Delta High School, reopen Monday.

    The partnership is a Kennewick School District program that serves home-schoolers.

  • Kamiakin High invites community to party

    KENNEWICK -- Kamiakin High School in Kennewick is holding a Community Block Party.

    The event will run from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday. There will be a bounce house, henna tattoos and car show.

    The party also will feature a taco truck and ice cream.

  • Science on Wheels vans to visit Tri-City schools

    The Pacific Science Center's Science on Wheels program is coming to the Tri-Cities.

    On Monday and Tuesday, the Space Odyssey Van will be at Ridge View Elementary School in Kennewick.

    The event will feature large, inflatable planetariums in which students can "explore the cosmos."
